AI Literacy for Educators
Synchronous Online | Aug 3-6, 2026 | $950
Based on the research of Dr. Victor Lee, this Stanford Professional Learning Extension (PLEX) experience equips educators with a foundation in AI literacy — exploring what it means, why it matters, and how to develop a principled stance that guides responsible decision-making in service of teaching and learning goals. Drawing on User, Developer, and Critic perspectives, participants will deepen their own understanding of generative AI tools and AI Literacy concepts, including the ethical responsibilities, risks, and opportunities AI presents for teaching and learning. Participants can earn 1 Continuing Education Unit (CEU) with their full participation.
Teaching Content for English Learners through Integrated English Language Development (ELD)
Synchronous Online | Aug 3-6, 2026 | $950
This Stanford Professional Learning Extension (PLEX) learning experience offers a research-based framework for integrating language supports necessary for English Language Learners to access rigorous grade level content instruction. Teachers of all grade levels will learn specific adaptable strategies to implement in the classroom to meet English Learner needs.
Designing Instruction for Designated English Language Development
Synchronous Online | Thursdays, Aug 27 - Oct 8, 2026 from 3:30-5:00 pm | $950
This Stanford Professional Learning Extension (PLEX) experience is designed for elementary classroom teachers who provide designated English language development (ELD) support to English Language Learners. Participants will explore a research-based framework for designing designated ELD instruction that addresses the language demands students encounter in everyday school life, with practical strategies that can be applied directly in the classroom. Participants can earn 1 Continuing Education Unit (CEU) with their full participation.

Mathematical Mindsets Online Course
Asynchronous course | $299
This youcubed course unpacks the teaching approach that was used in an 18-lesson intervention that raised the achievement of students learning mathematics by the equivalent of 2.7 years of school. It includes over 30 videos of the teaching and interviews with students, and will be helpful for teachers and leaders of K-16 mathematics.
