Routines are an essential part of teaching. Teaching Owlet, a web application, provides preservice teachers with an opportunity to practice teaching new routines to simulated students. In scenarios, users think about each student's response and practice providing clear, concise instructions. Using the Explain-Model-Practice framework, preservice teachers develop their teaching voice and become more confident teachers.
