Where wonder meets change
Locara is a place-based, mobile-guided experience that helps young people explore how climate change is affecting their own communities. While visiting real-world locations from school campuses to city parks, learners discover how their environment is changing due to climate change. Interactive prompts and design challenges invite learners to reflect, imagine better futures, and take small actions rooted in place. Locara transforms the familiar into an adventure of curiosity, connection, and care by empowering learners to see climate change not as a distant threat, but as a local call to hope.
