Adventure into Mentorship

Boys in the US are increasingly isolated, disengaged from school, and anxious about the future, with 66% reporting "no one really knows" them. Mentorship programs can help, but they often lack male volunteers. FORGE addresses this gap using a choose-your-own-adventure game that simulates mentoring decisions in a fantasy setting. Young adult men make choices, practice listening and boundary‑setting, and receive immediate feedback. The online experience builds concrete relational skills and reinforces the belief that players can mentor effectively. FORGE ultimately links players to proven local organizations that need mentors, leading to increased recruitment and greater impact for mentoring programs.
