Teachers managing overcrowded classrooms of 100+ students face an overwhelming workload. At this scale, it's nearly impossible to assign exercises/homework to gauge students' conceptual understanding. These formative assessments are the feedback loop educators rely on to track comprehension and adjust instruction. Dial-In is a low-tech, voice-based formative assessment tool built for environments with limited internet and technology access. Teachers assign short homework exercises, and students respond by phone. Our system automatically collects and aggregates the responses, providing teachers insight into student comprehension and their own teaching effectiveness, without adding to their current grading workload.
