apples&oranges is an early learning curriculum designed to help parents and children without access to preschool. The curriculum takes place entirely in the grocery store, using materials like packages, carts, and fruits to build toward important kindergarten readiness skills (e.g., counting to 10) and life competencies (e.g., communication and empathy). Parents will encounter the curriculum through place-based entry points to reduce barriers. The curriculum requires no additional materials, costs, or time. During these bite-sized moments, children will learn the critical skills they need for kindergarten and lifelong learning.
