Teaching Content for English Learners through Integrated English Language Development (ELD)

This Stanford Professional Learning Extension (PLEX) learning experience offers a research-based framework for integrating language supports necessary for English Language Learners to access rigorous grade level content instruction. Teachers of all grade levels will learn specific adaptable strategies to implement in the classroom to meet English Learner needs.

Target Audience: K-12 classroom teachers (any subject), EL specialists, coaches, TOSAs

Materials will draw from California terminology and state-specific frameworks, but practices may be applied to any English-speaking classroom, including internationally.
