Dr. Rita Kohli, of UC Riverside, will explore the racialized experiences of K-12 teachers of Color as they resist, re-imagine, and reclaim education. In this talk, she also calls on teacher education programs, schools, and districts to disrupt cycles of racial harm and create spaces that value the well-being and contributions of teachers of Color.
Rita Kohli is an Associate professor of Teaching and Teacher Education in the Graduate School of Education at the University of California, Riverside, and the co-founder and co-director of the Institute for Teachers of Color Committed to Racial Justice. Read more.
