The Stanford Graduate School of Education is pleased to announce the renaming of the International Comparative Education doctoral and master’s programs to Global and Comparative Education (GCE), reflecting the evolving research and interests of our faculty and students.

To celebrate the name change and look ahead to the program’s future, we invite all affiliated current and former students and faculty to join us on the eve of the Comparative & International Education Society (CIES) conference for an afternoon of connection, conversation, and celebration within the Global and Comparative Education community. The event will feature a faculty research panel, small-group discussions on emerging issues, and a lively happy hour with raffles and toasts in the new Angela Nomellini and Ken Olivier Building (ANKO).
